The compression driver on the Model Fourteen was the 902-8A. It is possible the 902-8B was also used later during production. It was quite common for Altec to supply compression drivers without rear cover labels if the assembly was inside of the cabinet. In some cases (as in the Model 14's) they were usually supplied with only a black plastic loading cap and no rear cover. I'm sure this was done to keep the manufacturing cost down.
